Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

This policy explains what Guess The Song (“the app”, “we”) collects, why, and what control you have. It is written to match what the app actually does.

Summary

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

Information created automatically as you play

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera data.

Information collected by advertising

The app displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, device type and operating system, and ad interaction data. This collection is governed by Google’s own privacy policy, not ours:

On iOS, we ask for your permission before allowing tracking for personalised advertising (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.

2. How we use information

We use the information above only to:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data to build advertising profiles ourselves.

3. Notifications

If you turn notifications on, the app schedules local reminders (for example, when your lives have refilled). These are generated on your device. You can turn them off at any time in your device’s system settings.

4. Where your data is stored

Game data is stored on your device and on our backend, hosted by Supabase, which stores data on cloud infrastructure that may be located outside your country. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Third parties that process data in connection with the app:

ProviderPurposePolicy
SupabaseBackend database / hostingsupabase.com/privacy
Google AdMobAdvertisingpolicies.google.com/privacy
ExpoApp build and delivery toolingexpo.dev/privacy

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your game data for as long as the app is installed and in use.

You can delete everything from inside the app at any time:
Settings → Delete My Data

This permanently erases your progress, statistics, achievements, and leaderboard entry from our servers, clears the data stored on your device, and issues a new anonymous ID. This cannot be undone.

Uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your device. If you’d like us to delete server-side data on your behalf, contact us at Support@Dorontron.com — note that because accounts are anonymous, we may need your in-app player ID to identify the correct records. See Delete My Data for step-by-step instructions.

6. Children’s privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at Support@Dorontron.com and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Because the app is anonymous, the fastest way to exercise deletion is the in-app Settings → Delete My Data. For anything else, contact us.

You can also reset your advertising identifier or limit ad tracking in your device’s system settings.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections and standard access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
